. # 11 The Horsehead nebulae, B33. The small dark spot near the center (to the right and down) is a dark protrusion into the brighter nebulae IC 434. Bettter pictures show this as a horse's head, but that's just because the gases are arranged that way. As with M45, this was computer- enhanced; otherwise, IC 434 and the Horsehead would not be easily visible.
