The Andromeda galaxy, M31, and one of its satellite galaxies, M32.  Now
we have to leave our Galaxy and proceed to the ones near us.  Our sister
galaxy, Andromeda, consists of about 3 billion stars like our Milky Way,
and is about 2 million light-years away.  As with the Crab, the objects
are so faint that they had to be enhanced by computer to better see
them, even though, in apparent size, M31 is about the same size as the
full Moon.
